Seeking a Self-Motivated, Team Player Director of Manufacturing Operations

Director of Manufacturing Operations
Johnstown, Pennsylvania
Youll work in a bright, clean, cutting-edge manufacturing facility where youll aggressively spearhead all tactical and strategic company operations. You will assume oversight of operating budgets and manage performance to appropriate financial objectives for production and R&O-related functional areas, and liaison with delivery managers to ensure on-time, quality and cost deliveries to clients. You will interface with other functions as you analyze issues and propose/implement solutions across appropriate segments of the organization, including global considerations. Importantly, youll drive state-of-the-art materials management techniques and processes, as well as state-of-the-art production, repair, test and manufacturing engineering techniques and processes.
To qualify, you should hold a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business or a related field (a Master of Science, Business/MBA is preferred), and possess ten years experience in a manufacturing environment and five years of management experience. Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, APICS, Quality or other related disciplines would be beneficial. Your repertoire should encompass logistics, engineering, production, quality assurance and customer relations. Awareness of application of appropriate Information Technology is key; prior experience working in defense-related industries is an absolute. You must bring excellent verbal and written communications abilities to this role.
