Responsibilities Sell parts over the counter to retail customers and technicians Promote additional parts sales by suggesting related items, seasonal lines, and/or parts specialists Clean, revise, and update parts displays as directed Inform customers when parts specially ordered for them are received Determine correct parts numbers and pick parts for orders received Arrange for delivery or shipment of parts as required Help maintain parts stock in orderly condition Assist with regular parts inventories and the selection of parts for return under parts obsolescence protection program Assist in physical re-arrangement of layout Attend group training sessions as required Qualifications High school diploma or the equivalent.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information Tech savvy and comfortable with computers One year of experience in an automotive parts department preferred Ability to work well with the public and internal team members, sometimes with several individuals at a time We welcome all replies in strict confidence.
